Easy access to sightseeing, such as Agios Georgios Castle with its traditional settlement, traditional workshop and winery in Pessada, the Monasteri and the museum of Agios Antreas, the cultural center at Kourkoumelata and the archeological site of Mazarkaton.
One of the most interesting sightseeing in the village is the Byron Rock, where poet Lord Byron inspired his poems during his living in the island in 1823.
From the road to Lakythra-Metaxata-Kastro, you can travel towards the great Monastery of Saint Gerasimos and the wine association of Rompola and towards Sami and the cave of Melissanis, Drogarati, while the route to Karavomilo-Agia Evimeria provides a magical journey to Assos and Fiscardo, with the wonderful panoramic sea view of Myrto beach.
From the route Lakythra-Koutavos, outside Argostoli, head towards Lixouri in the west part of the island with the traditional villages and its sightseeing. While in Kourkoumelata you can enjoy the deep-green villages of Leivathrou and gain access to the small and large beaches of ie Helli, Avithos, Minies and the graphical Pessada and Spartia.
Within 10-15 minutes distance from Arhontariki are located some of the best beaches of the island, such as Minies, Ie Helis, Ammes, Makris and Platis gyalos.
Next to ARCHONTARIKI are two wonderful restaurants with exceptional local kitchen, patisserie, pool bar, barbecue shop, mini market and a church.
